Antonio Alonso
He is a specialist in prospective studies and strategic planning. He was researcher and Director at the Center of Prospective Studies, A.C. and the Javier Barros Sierra Foundation. He is a member of several councils, such as the Directive Council of the Mexican Chapter of the World Future Society. Co-author of many books, among others: Mexico 2030, Energy for Tomorrow´s World.
Antonio Castro
Actuary from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and teacher in econometrics at the Free University of Brussels. Since 1994 he is General Director of Oxford CAPEM. He published the book Dynamic Aspects of the Mexican Economy in 1979 and in 1981, Coefficient Modifications in a System of Simultaneous Equations. His specialty is economic analysis.
Catarina Rock
She has a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College and a M.A. in Economics from El Colegio de México. She completed the diplomatic training course at the Instituto Matías Romero and is a member of the Mexican Foreign Service. Among other positions, she has been General Director of International Labor Policy at the Ministry of Labor and, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Director of Economic Relations with North America and Europe, of Multilateral Economic Negotiations, and Director of Bilateral Economic Affairs. She teaches Economics at UNAM and has also taught at CIDE and Anahuac del Sur University. She is co-author of a book on NAFTA and has several articles on Mexican and Latin American foreign trade.
Guillermo Knochenhauer
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and he is a graduate of the Advanced Program of Business Administration at INAP. He was an accountant and public relations executive at the Alonso y Asociados Agency. He also worked as General Director of Commercial and Industrial Enterprises of the Conasupo System, General Manager of “Análisis XXI” magazine and coordinator of the Environmental Regulatory Policy at Semarnat.
Miguel Molina
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Universidad Iberoamericana. Since 1992 he is General Director at CFI Consultants, S.C. He wrote the book The structure and regulation of the electricity markets (a contribution to the debate in Mexico). He is a specialist in financial reengineering and energy issues.
Raúl Noriega
He studied Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho and specialized in Public Finance and Commercial Arbitration. He has been a public official in the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and in the Ministry of Finance. He has also worked at ISSSTE, SIDERMEX, SICARTSA and Diesel Nacional. He is a corporate lawyer.
